Very much enjoyed our stay overall

Hotel and bedroom were lovely. Pool was nice and quiet even though hotel itself seemed busy enough.

The area around the pool could do with updating and most of the sunbeds need replacing. Service was quite slow at the bar for food or a drink, one of the female breakfast staff who also worked the tables in the bar area didn't seem very pleasant but reception staff and any cleaning staff we were all very friendly and polite.

Perfect all in one location close to the ocean.

It has all you need, without needing to leave the place unless you want to visit the area. Restaurant: buffet and a la carte, indoor and outdoor pool, outside playground and walking area, game rooms. Our room had an interesting separating half wall between parents’ and kid’s bed. Even though there was also a weird step in there prone to falling at night if you forgot about it. Good sized room.

Because of the open buffet, it can get crowded at meal times but we never failed to find a place or proper food. Pool shuts down quite early.

Beautiful location. Walking distance to town but also incredible location for enjoying costal path. Had bed and breakfast and beautiful selection of food. Would have no problem coming back here again.

We enjoyed our stay and woukd stay here again.

We loved the balcony in our room. The breakfast was great. A lot of variety. Centrally located to other areas of Algarve.

The minimal outlets to charge personal devices. The wait staff weren’t very friendly. They would just come by and take our breakfast plates without saying hello or asking if we were done.

Great pool and amenities. Great breakfast, biggest range of foods on the buffet for all tastes. Cool location on the cliff tops of the area. Great view. Also a very cute kitten who is very friendly.

A bit expensive and the resort is quite old and tired.

Lovely hotel with great hospitality.

The hotel was located in the middle of several beaches (20 min to Lagos, 20 min to Gale beach) so it was easy to visit the surrounding areas with our car. The cliffs and beaches smack in front of the hotel were spectacular (Benagil cave is one of them!). The staff went above and beyond for our daughter’s 5th birthday and they organized a lovely complimentary chocolate cake for her that was in our room with candles and birthday wishes. The buffet breakfast was a great addition to our stay as well.

The food outside of breakfast was quite pricey and just average (may be worth it on full board but not worth paying for otherwise). Also, there are no ventilation fans inside the rooms so the AC unit leaked water constantly. We had to keep a towel on the floor to soak up the dripping.

It was memorable stay with kids, there are lots of things to engage kidsmm ma

If you are going with kids, this would be one of the best place to live.

I booked one night before so it was comparatively expensive for me but if we book very early the place is the best.

The development in the grounds

When I booked on 16 August last year I requested room 202 if possible. The reason for this is that I have severe arthritis and walking at times is difficult. That room (which we stayed in last year) is on the same level as the restaurant, reception and bar, which was far more convenient. Reluctantly we have decided we will not visit this hotel again.

Its conveniently located very near Marinha , Benagil beach which is the main purpose of our trip in Algarve. Free buffet Breakfast was very good and a delicious and dinner that you have to pay extra if you like for a minimal price but well worth it.

The area outside the room is very nice, especially in summer.

The breakfast was very poor, not only not tasty but also not applicable for a 4 stars hotel. Outside the room, at the very entrance to the room, was some water leak. That annoyed us since we have a stroller and small kids we had to pick them up. After four times we complained, the water was cleaned up. The hotel has too many stairs, so if you plan to go there with kids in strollers, you would need to reconsider. There was no water boiler in the room to make a coffee or tea. The safebox was very old with no lock at all. You have to rent it.

Staff was great and the room was huge and comfy (even though we got an interior room).

It's a hotel for big groups and excursions... very touristy. Which is great if that's what you're looking for :)

I paid a very reasonable price for 3 nights b&b .

I paid a very reasonable price for 3 nights b&b . The hotel is in a lovely location with beautiful gardens. The rooms could do with a little updating. The big let down however is the breakfast. Eggs that looked like they were cooked the previous day and the majority of the food was at best only Luke warm. Just lacking a bit of inspiration and freshness. Other than that I had a very comfortable stay with lovely friendly staff.

I would come back

The room was spatious and clean. The staff were friendly. Breakfast was not fantastic, but quite decent. There is a game room with ping pong table, fussball, air hockey and a pinball (you have to pay to use, though). The view is nice, as it is located on a cliff over the ocean (from the beach below, you can take a boat to the caves, which was great). The location is close (3 min drive) to the town center, where you can find some nice restaurants. There is parking on site.

The shower/bathtub was not well designed. If you gave a little water pressure to the shower, you made a mess in the bathroom. The fact that it was on a cliff meant that access to the beach was not as straightforward as it looks. The gym was small, warm (no AC) and with very basic equipment (one treadmill, one semi-broken bike, one flimsy bench and some dumbbells.).
